We ship to anywhere in the continental United States. At this time we do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, any US territories, or any foreign countries.
If your products are cold to the touch, they remain safe. Feel free to put them in the freezer to re-freeze, or enjoy them right away!
If the packaging still appears to be sealed, but loose, your product remains safe. Our high quality, Cryovac vacuum packaging is designed to keep your product safe and prevent freezer-burn. So, if packaging does become loose during shipping, we recommend enjoying the product soon, rather than storing it for an extended period of time.
Aging beef allows natural enzymes within the meat to break down connective tissue. This results in a much more tender and delicious finished product.
Place the product on a rimmed sheet pan in the refrigerator and let it rest there until it is fully tempered. Smaller products, such as steaks and tamales will thaw within a day, while larger products, such as briskets will take 2-3 days to fully thaw.
If the products arrive partially thawed, feel free to place them in freezer. They will re-freeze without issue. We do not recommend thawing and refreezing products multiple times, as quality will begin to be compromised.
As a general rule, try to enjoy all thawed products within 7 days.
After you have removed all of your products from the cooler, place the open cooler in a well ventilated area and allow all the dry ice to evaporate.
Our high quality, cryovac vacuum packaging is designed to act as a complete barrier to oxygen. This keeps your products as fresh as possible and prevents freezer burn. However, oxygen is responsible for converting meat from its natural dark red color, to the bright "cherry" red that is so highly desired. As soon as you open the package, you will notice this conversion beginning to take place, and will have bright red steaks in just a few minutes.
Absolutely! You are able to fill out a friend's shipping information and simply finish up with your own payment information.
As a general rule, we recommend thawing and enjoying all sealed, frozen products within 365 days. If the product is thawed, unsealed, or not in its original packaging, we recommend enjoying it within 7 days.
Each of your products is sealed in high quality, vacuum sealed packaging to keep it fresh and prevent freezer burn. These packages are then quickly frozen in extremely cold conditions to lock in all the freshness and high quality. When you place an order, each sealed package is placed in a styrofoam cooler with dry ice and packaging materials to keep everything cold and safe during shipping. This cooler is then boxed up and shipped to you overnight. When you receive it, do not touch the dry ice, as it can burn your skin!
Safety is our number one priority here at DSM! Since there is always a chance of packaging being compromised during shipping, we ship cooked and raw items seperately to prevent any possibility of cross-contamination.
Both the 6 oz and 10 oz Top Sirloin Steaks are packaged 2 steaks per package.
The Filet Mignon Steaks are packaged 2 steaks per package. Each steak weighs 6 oz.
The Petite Filets are 3 oz Filets. Each package contains 6 (3 oz) steaks per package.
